Our method of pricing provides you with value and encourages regular grooming which is healthier for the dog’s skin, coat and nails. Regular grooming leads to faster grooms, it helps a dog settle and to get used to the grooming process. perfect for those nervous dogs and pups who don’t like the sound of dryers, clippers, or having their feet touched. Our prices reflect the luxury one-to-one service we provide (two dogs from the same owner) We give 100% care and attention with every dog we see (no Cages) in our stress-free environment.
Our equipment is of high quality, Sterilized and well-maintained. We offer premium quality Melanie Newman professional shampoos and conditioners, also medicated, whitening, de-matting or hypoallergenic shampoos.
All prices are subject to coat condition, coat length, size of dog, dog's temperament, grooming style and time taken.
Our prices are based on clients who book on a regular 4-6 weekly schedule, 8 weeks for the comfort style groom (short shave down).

Please note we have a strict regular grooming policy, due to limited availability and striving for a positive, high quality grooming experience, and therefore do not take dog clients who cannot commit to minimum 3, 4, 6, weekly grooming appointments (8 weeks for comfort style groom). By booking you agree to our conditions of grooming. Size in kg are a guide only. Your groomer will decide what size your pet falls under.

Breed Clips are some of our favourite dog clips we do, because it lets us use orthodox dog breed guidelines to really enhance the dog’s appearance. We love the look of smartly trimmed dogs in their breed’s traditional haircut. Here at Pawz First, breed clips may be customised if you wish.

We recommend starting your puppy's grooming journey at 12- weeks of age and/or once they are fully vaccinated. The very first grooming appointment is an introduction to the puppy and the owner to the world of grooming. Our puppy groom service is for dogs who are under 21 weeks of age.
We strongly do not recommend any puppy to have a full hair cut on their first time being groomed

Extra Handling from $10
Dogs that show mild aggression, acute nervousness, or over-excited that cannot keep still take much longer to groom will be charged a higher standard grooming rate. (we do not groom aggressive dogs)
Older dogs: unable to stand for long periods. Our old regulars that have been with us for some time require patience, time, and support to stand.

Matting $20 every 15 minutes
Matted Dogs will be charged extra depending on how long they take to complete.
Long Coat Management From $10
If you choose to keep your dog's coat long a long coat management fee may apply as it takes much longer.
Pre-cut before bath due to long hair. $15
Poodle feet will be extra if your dog is not used to the feet being clipped $15
Condition of Coat
Please be aware an additional cost of $20
per 15 minutes will be required for extra brushing, clearing a heavily knotted/matted coat when possible or clipping of severely matted coat.
Brushing matted/knotted hair or even clipping out a heavily matted coat can take an huge amount of time even for an experienced groomer. It involves delicate and accurate work as the mats are usually very close to the skin.
What we do not do...
X-large dogs | Dogs that show aggressive behavior | Large old dogs that cannot stand for a long period of time would be advised to see a Veterinarian Groomers where they can assist with lifting support equipment.
We do not do baths only.
Tidy- up's are only offered to regulars in between their 4 / 6-week regular groom.
We only offer nail clipping in a groom, no walk-ins.
Anal Glands must be done by a veterinarian.
Ear plucking must be done by a veterinarian
Flea Rinse - If your dog is found to have fleas we will automatically give your pet a flea treatment. $20
OatMeal Shampoo - An Aid in smoothing itchy, dry skin suitable for inflamed and irritated skin. $5
Medicated Shampoo - An antibacterial, anti fungal shampoo suitable for related dermatitis on the skin.
